annual family camping trip/adam's birthday/4th july celebration
last weekend we met my parents at magone lake where we spent an amazing three nights and four days together. as a bonus, we were able to celebrate adam's birthday and the first half of the 4th.
- brenner wasted no time diving right in.
- silvie, however, hesitated and chose to observe only.
- backpacking around the lake was silvie's (and adam's) favorite part of the trip. she literally was giddy with excitement and content during the entire hike.
- hiking highlights.
- brenner and grampy were able to sneak away from camp to do a little fly fishing together.
- and i was able to sneak away with my camera to play.
- we took a break from camp and drove to the sumpter flea market, where we found a few old and new treasures to take home. if you haven't been - you must go.
a big thanks to my parents for reserving a great camping spot and for hosting silvie and i in their camping trailer. we love you guys and can't wait for next year.
