happy halloween, from a ninja, blackmail, lamb & bottleneck
{a big thanks to the moseley family for hosting an amazing party. like family, we love you guys!}
i got these fun candle lanterns at ikea last summer, but this fall i'm giving them a new purpose. i'm filling them with a few of my favorite pieces of the garland i found on clearance at michaels. or, if you have the time and a lot of heavy books...you can press the amazing falling leaves all around you and fill to your hearts desire.
last weekend my rockstar parents came to stay with the kidlets while adam and i ventured into bend, stayed here, drank here, ate here and here, movied here, soaked here, shopped here and there and had the most fabulous weekend together...alone (1st post silvie!)...carefree...and relaxed! it was just what we needed.
easy. i'm going for easy this week. so head down to your local craft store, and... a.) pick out a few white pumpkins (they should be on clearance by now) and bittersweet berries. b.) have or know someone with pine trees? these little guys came from our pine tree! moving on, have a lonely basket hanging around? and ribbon, yes? score. you're set.
i can't really explain why i love the chevron pattern, but i do, and i already have plans to redo a room in the house one day soon. Here are a few of my favorite pins i've gathered on pinterest.
last weekend we packed up the kids and headed over to the central oregon pumpkin company with jen and her company. a little surgery didn't stop her from getting out with her boys to enjoy a fun day in the sun.

need buttons? head to your local antique shops, dig through the bins and pick out your favorite fall colors to make this easy table decoration. see link below for instructions.
i could seriously spend adam's paycheck in one day at uncommon goods - my love grows with every visit!
