hello! daily digs is new to the blog where i'll be sharing the love of the latest products i own or dream of.
:: oval stone stretch ring - holiday glam.
:: opi russian navy nail polish - love this color for my toes this winter.
:: bare escentuals high shine eyecolor - glisten is my fave.
:: indian coconut nectar holiday set - yummmmy coconut scent that reminds me of the beach.
:: puffy flower headband - so friggin cute and next on my purchase list.
:: the elf on the shelf - can't wait for silvie to name him.
:: seventh generation chlorine free diapers - good for the environment and best of all, no more creepy disney and sesame street characters staring at me during changes. i mean really, do they have a 20 year contract with huggies and pampers?
:: 1960’s gold dress - this little dress would so be hanging in my closet if i wasn't so white and fat.
one last holiday craft with brenner and friends. we stacked gumdrops and dotted them with sprinkles and other candy goodness. the tree looks a lot like our leaning noble fir this year.
good times, check it.

words cannot describe how thankful we are for our miss silvie to turn three months old. she has literally turned from this:

:: stargazing is her all-time fave thing right now.

last weekend we made a last minute decision to take a trip to portland, oregon, where we shopped (ikea and h&m overload), visited family and ordered room service (which was worth every overpriced penny).

check her out! this smile makes it all worth it. and then some.

the last few weeks my mission was to get silvie's newborn pictures done by jen thompson and some recent shots up on the walls. mission accomplished.
i found these frames at our local goodwill. a few cans of spray paint and wah-lah.

and these are actually not frames, but pieces of an antique puzzle i found at my favorite antique mall, purchased by my step-mother for a baby shower gift, and painted to cover what was most likely lead paint. i'm really excited about these because i can easily interchange the photos as she grows.

:: shots. not fun. but at least the band-aids were.

:: and they made her sleepy...

:: the girl loves her water and an audience to impress.

:: brotherly lovin'

:: trying to smile

fall is our favorite time of the year; for adam i think it reminds him of back home in maine, for me it means i get to decorate with all my favorite colors. this year we're hosting a small fall potluck with close friends and family and can't wait to get started with the menu next.

:: meadow camp picnic area

:: bibbit: 6 weeks old

:: todd lake

ok, so fun wouldn't exactly describe our outing to the local fall venue of orange goodness; more "memorable" and "amusing" as we'll look back in years to come i'm sure. between my son's inability to listen to my instructions and my daughter's total colic meltdown prior to our arrival...my patience was shot, not to mention my ability to hold back the frustrated tears.
but eh...it happens...right?! life.

when our friend and local photographer, jen thompson, asked to take silvie's newborn pictures, we were thrilled and so excited. here is miss silvie at 6 days old. thank you again, jen - your generosity rocks.
