crafty friday, crib pillow
since silvie loves making pillows from her blankets i thought it was time to get her a flat pillow. while going through her closet i came across her highchair cushion we got at ikea that she no longer uses. i recycled one of her blankets, used some ribbon i had tucked away in my craft chest to come up with this design.
after playing with it for awhile, as much as she loves it, we decided to wait until she makes the transition from her crib to a bed, for safe measure.
**safety disclosure - i stitched the ribbons to the blanket and bows twice to prevent her from pulling off.
If silivie likes pillows in her crib to sleep with, you could also put a regular one underneath her sheet for safety. That's what we did with Josh. it is not as cute though!
