Last night Cheryl and I had a great time getting to know each other while the boys played. Zach watched over Brenner like an older brother, which was super sweet. Cheryl and I have a lot in common including knowing a certain “friend” who lives right down our street. It was a very interesting and enlightening conversation.

For those who don’t know, I’m going back East (Maine) with Adam to meet his entire family. I’m so excited and a little nervous at the same time. I can’t believe we leave next Wednesday…where did this month go?

counting the days

Only three days to go until the annual Dinner Dance and Auction event at work and I’m totally exhausted! On top of that I completely booked my evenings for the rest of the week. Why do I do that? I like to stay busy, so I guess I shouldn't complain.

Tonight Brenner has soccer practice before his big game on Saturday. After practice we are meeting Cheryl and her son Zach at Papa's Pizza. It will be nice to chat while the boys burn their endless amounts of energy in the germnasium jungle:-)

Today Adam and  I went to Home Depot to pick out paint for a wall in his living room. We both really like orange shades and found the perfect one - Copper Coin. He's in the process of painting as I type.  I hope it turns out.

I'm so excited for tonight, and do you know why???? Because it's the season premiere of my most favorite show - Desperate Housewives! Lauren is coming over to Adam's to watch it with me on his 65 inch TV. And I'm sure we will have a few margaritas...of course we will.

stages

Brenner is definitely in the “what, where, and why” stage and I love it. He is so precious and it’s been so hard not to laugh in front of him when he asks these random questions. For example, this morning I’m getting his breakfast ready and he asks me what “Farts” look like? I about lost it…

a case of the mondays

It's a Monday alright...augh! I really didn't want to get out of bed this morning.

Brenner and I had a good weekend together. We went to Bend on Saturday to feed the ducks at the park and did a little shopping for school.  Brenner is such a Grampy's boy, he wanted to buy every piece of camo clothing he could find...it was too cute. Sunday was pretty uneventful but very relaxing. Adam and Brenner rode bikes before the BBQ and for dessert the boys made the best chocolate chip cookies ever! Hope everyone had a good weekend.
