bellyaching
yesterday i learned how important it is to stay within my target heart rate during my 60 minute work outs. sounds easy enough, right? let's just say after my work out my hair was dripping wet in sweat. i literally had to crawl from one set to the other. it was brutal and i loved every minute, well not every minute, there was a point during the jumping jacks set my bladder malfunctioned and had to run to the bathroom. it wasn't pleasant but i persevered.
my favorite trainer is stacey, also a former gymnast who understands the struggles and issues i have with my body image. she gets me, inspires me and pushes me to my ultimate limit. you could say i fear her. a lot.

warning: serious whining and bellyaching ahead. while planning our trip to portland i quickly realized that summer is nearly over! excuse me? are you serious? for real? i'm white, almost nicole kidman white. By now I would look something like this. My tan lines are lacking and I wonder where my sunbathing days went this year. come back! come back!
like i mentioned before the bellyaching commenced, we're heading to p-town this weekend to visit adam's dad, george, and george's girlfriend, cheryl. we have so many fun things planned and if we're lucky *fingers crossed*, we'll get to see rose-tu's baby. i've been following the zoo's updates and i'm so in love with this 286-pound baby elephant.
