spring, what spring?
so it's "officially" spring. um yeeeeeeah, i'm convinced that central oregon doesn't have this so called season - it goes from snow to 80 degree weather over night. odd-noying.
last weekend was a real emotional flip-flopper for me. after saying goodbye to my parents and brenner, i cried for an hour. i tried to hide my tears and sniffles from adam but failed...miserably. after i composed myself we headed out the door with our mile long shopping and "to-do" lists. it was a long day.
sunday morning i had a hankering for french toast and cantaloupe. i gave adam "the look" and he was out the door and pulling out of the driveway before i could hand him a list. i'm not sure if he feared another mood flopper or if he was just so excited i was making him breakfast. either way, he was a champ.
at 1:55pm our always prompt friends, julie and phil, came over for easter dinner. julie made the most delish cheesy potato dish and brought just for me, sparkling pear juice. yum! and of course adam and i got our sweet little paige fix...ohhhhh, she melts our hearts!!! while enjoying our strawberry cheesecake we discussed our summer vacation plans. initially we planned to vacation in mexico around september, but with that placing me at 7+ months pregnant - that's out! so...being that we all love the outdoors, water sports, and scoring a great tan, we decided to research houseboats at shasta lake. it's perfect!!!!
I just stole your widget, so cool!
ReplyDeleteYou've gotta do houseboating! That'll be so much fun.
i am so happy about the coming event. I know that everyone is also thrilled.
ReplyDeleteWe are haveing nasty weather here and think it is going to snow soon. we just got back from the wine country and the weather was so wonderful, and to come home to this, I demand that spring get here.
so when is the baby due?
I hope that you are feeling well, and are you going to continue to work?
Well, I sound nosy. and I just am very excited for the three of you.
