juniper ridge anniversary getaway : part one
for christmas last year my parents gifted us a stay at the inn at juniper ridge bed & breakfast for our 5th year wedding anniversary. babysitting included!
we did a lot of exploring, sipping and big-time relaxing thanks to our amazing hosts, norbert and mary!
ace was our favorite exploring buddy, showing us the best hiking and fishing spots on the 1000+ acres.
and since the traditional anniversary gift for 5 years is "wood", we found and brought home a piece of juniper that we carved our initial and year in to remind us of our wonderful weekend together.
and it just happens to be my parent's 46th wedding anniversary today! thank you mom and dad for showing us how it's done, successfully! we love you.
