crafty friday, spring in a frame
for me when i think of spring, i think of: happy-chirpy birds, new blossoms and a whole lot of bright green colors popping up everywhere. so i wanted to create something that would best represent my vision.
frame: i looked around in the garage, then in my craft trunk and found an old frame i first painted with a stone colored texture primer, next a few coats of matte black, and then lightly sanded the edges for an antique finish.
wreath: feathers, feathers and feathers. so much fun, right! i wrapped an old twig wreath i found at my favorite antique mall with a spool of feathers, intertwined a roll of silk ribbon i've been keeping for such a project, then garnished with some berry twigs i had leftover from another project.
