bounce at lava camp lake
while packing for our speedy camping trip this weekend, i remembered hearing that if you place bounce fabric softeners around your camp site and on youself, it will keep the bugs away. and guess what? it totally works! not one yellow jacket or mosquito bite. sweet.
bright and early saturday morning we rushed around the house packing and loading up the truck for our one night stay at lava camp lake. the lake was perfect, the marshmellows were yummy and the campfire time with my husband, awesome!
I'm such a dork. I forgot all about this piece of advice and had to make an emergency trip to Wal-mart for bugspray. They grow them big in the south!
