adjusting
happy one month anniversary to us. one month of endless to-do lists and good use of my new debit card. the yard work is going to be the death of us. we can't keep up with the growing jungle we inherited with the house. the rose bushes must go, i repeat, the rose bushes must go. "ouch. die. ouch. die." add a few naughty words and you get the picture. after using the rest of brenner's curious george band-aids on my thorn wounded legs and arms we made a mad dash to home depot, pier one, and lowe's for some fun home improvements items. it's amazing what a little color and window treatments will do. our house is finally starting to feel and look feng shui. on sunday after grocery shopping for the week and feeding the boys lunch, i attended julie's baby shower. she looks absolutely amazingly cute with only three weeks to go! woo-hoo.
umm, i just signed brenner up for fall soccer. crimany-a! i feel summer passing us by quickly. time to plan and organize our annual camping trip at magone lake with the family. very important. this weekend we're heading to idaho to help my brother and tomi with their massive yard sale - melding is so much work!!! then in august, it's to seattle we go to watch our two favorite baseball teams; mariners vs. boston. go mariners! with any luck we'll plan a fun trip to the coast, portland zoo and camp at some of our favorite local spots.
